CDS-I Age Limit
- IMA/OTA: Candidates should be born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2006.
- INA: Candidates should be born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2006.
- Air Force: Candidates should be born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2006.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS I 2024
- Indian Military Academy (IMA):
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing for a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- Indian Naval Academy (INA):
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing for a bachelor’s degree in engineering from any recognized university.
- Air Force:
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a degree in Engineering.
- Officers Training Academy (OTA):
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing for a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
How to Apply for UPSC CDS I Exam 2024
UPSC has introduced the One-Time Registration (OTR) system for all its recruitment exams, including the Combined Defence Services. The UPSC has issued the CDS I 2024 recruitment notification and invited applications from eligible candidates. Interested applicants can apply online from 20th December 2023 to 9th January 2024.
Candidates must complete their OTR before applying for the exam. Only after registering through the OTR system can, you proceed with the application.
Before applying, ensure you read the notification carefully to understand all details.
- Collect the necessary documents such as identity proof, eligibility certificates, and address details.
- Prepare scanned copies of required documents (photo, signature, ID, and thumbprint).
- Review your application thoroughly before submission, especially the preview and all entered details.
- If applicable, ensure the payment of the application fee is made. Without fee payment, the application will not be accepted.
- After submitting the form, take a printout of the final submitted application for your records.
