Application Fee
For Single Paper:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
- SC / ST / PH: ₹500
For Both Papers (Primary / Junior):
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200
- SC / ST / PH: ₹600
Candidates can pay the examination fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan.
CBSE CTET December 2024 Exam Eligibility Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility Criteria for December 2024
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name known), OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002, OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility Criteria for December 2024
- Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name known).
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
- Candidates who have completed a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear in the TET/CTET. As per the existing TET guidelines, any person pursuing a teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI, as applicable) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also eligible to appear for the TET/CTET.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
How to Fill CTET December 2024 Exam Online Form
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET Paper I to V & VI to VIII Exam December 2024. Candidates can apply online between 17/09/2024 and 16/10/2024.
Note: This year, the exam centers are limited in each city, and the availability of exam centers will be visible to candidates during the form-filling process. Candidates who want to select the nearest exam center/city should apply as early as possible as slots are limited.
Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before submitting the Teacher Eligibility Test application form for the Central TET CTET December 2024.
Make sure to check and gather all the required documents – Eligibility proof, ID proof, Address details, and Basic details.
Prepare scanned copies of documents related to the recruitment form – Photo, Signature, ID proof, etc.
Before submitting the application form, review all the details carefully.
If the candidate needs to pay the application fee, they must complete the payment. If the required fee is not submitted, the form will be incomplete.
After submission, take a printout of the final submitted form for your reference.
